Bryan Zar Earns Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

We're proud to share some incredible news from the Checkride Coach community - our very own Bryan Zar has officially earned his Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU)!

Bryan received his degree on March 31, 2025, from the world-renowned aviation university's online degree program. This achievement reflects not only his dedication to advancing his knowledge in aviation, but also his commitment to safety, leadership, and continuous growth in the aviation industry.

For those who know Bryan, this comes as no surprise. He's a a King Air Captain with Apex Aero, check instructor for Gulf Coast Aviation flight school, Master CFI accredited, and holds a Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate from the FAA. Whether he's flying, coaching, or speaking on aviation safety, Bryan brings both professionalism and passion to everything he does.

This master's degree adds another impressive credential to his already extensive resume-and it's just the beginning. Bryan is already setting his sights on a Doctor of Aviation Business Administration (DABA) at ERAU, with a research focus on pilot fatigue, its root causes, and how we can better address it across the industry.
